#005: Aquarium (Skyscrapers)

This was my entry for Logic Showcase #34 on Puzzlers Club, “Not Hatred but Fear”. The prompt was to submit Skyscraper variants, which could either be variants of the Skyscraper genre, or using Skyscraper clues in other genres, which is what I did.

Rules: The regions represent containers which may contain water (shaded cells). Shade some cells such that each body of water has a consistent, flat surface level. Separate bodies of water within the same region may have different surface levels. Clues outside the grid represent the number of filled cells in the corresponding row or column.

Variant: Skyscrapers — Clues outside the grid indicate how many bodies of water can be seen along the corresponding row or column, from the direction of the clue. Bodies of water are only visible to the clue if they are larger (by total area) than any body of water in front of it.
