#059: Ivy (Triangular)

I’m often drawn to experimenting with genres on other grids, and the triangular grid actually turns out to be a great fit for Ivy, both in terms of logic and aesthetics. In another universe, where the genre didn’t originate with Corey’s prompt, this might have been the default grid for the genre.

Rules: Draw a connected network of branching lines through the centres of some cells without forming any 4-way intersections or closed loops. Every endpoint is marked with a number, and every number marks an endpoint, indicating the total line length from the endpoint to the nearest branch point.

Variant: Triangular — The grid is triangular. The rule about 4-way intersections can be ignored.
