#111: Wanderlust

Here’s a “new” loop genre! This is the ruleset I called “Alike-Like Loop” for the Polish Puzzle Championship, but it felt good enough to me to give it a less ridiculous name.

There is actually a Naoki Inaba genre that is quite similar: Area Loop. The only differences are that (a) Area Loop has no number clues, and (b) Area Loop requires exactly one visit per region. Making both of those changes feels a bit much for a variant, so here is Wanderlust.

Rules: Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centres of some cells. If a region contains a number clue, it indicates how many cells of the region are visited by the loop. Adjacent regions cannot have the same number of visited cells. Regions may be visited any number of times.
