#002: Castle Wall - "Double Eye"

After solving many of Stef’s amazing daily Castle Walls on Twitter, I wanted to try my hand at making one of these myself. I struggled for a while to make the theme work without creating any shortcuts that would let solvers skip the intended break-in.

I think I succeeded in the end, but the puzzle might have benefited from just using a larger grid to give myself a bit more space to work with.

Rules: Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centres of some cells. The loop may not enter outlined cells or cells containing clues. White cells with outlines must lie inside the loop, while black cells with outlines must lie outside the loop. Grey cells may either be inside or outside the loop. A number represents the sum of the lengths of loop segments in the indicated direction.
