#066: Twilight Cave for Black-Out Friday

For the second time, The Griddle has put together a pack of shading puzzles for Black(-Out) Friday to encourage people to spend their day puzzling instead of shopping. This year, David asked other authors to contribute puzzles, and I made this Cave variant. Do check out the full PDF over on The Griddle, the puzzles are all fantastic.

Rules: Shade some cells so that the shaded cells are all connected orthogonally by other shaded cells to the edge of the grid, and the remaining unshaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. Clues cannot be shaded, and represent the total number of unshaded cells that can be seen in a straight line vertically or horizontally, including itself.

Variant: Twilight — Clues can be shaded. Shaded clues count the total number of shaded cells that can be seen in a straight line vertically or horizontally, including itself.
