And another Wanderlust to explore what can be done without number clues.
Here’s a “new” loop genre! This is the ruleset I called “Alike-Like Loop” for the Polish Puzzle Championship, but it felt good enough to me to give it a less ridiculous name.
Here is my last contest contribution for now. I made a single puzzle for a qualification round of the Slovak Puzzle Championship. The contest used a slightly easier version where the starting positions of some words were given, but I think the logic in this original version is quite nice and more suitable for the blog.
As I mentioned in the last post, I made another Remembered Length for the Indian Puzzle Championship that didn’t get used. This isn’t that puzzle, but it’s a more polished version of it.
I also contributed some puzzles to the Indian Puzzle Championship. This time, I didn’t make a full round, but instead made some puzzles for every round.
Here’s one more bonus puzzle from the Polish Puzzle Championship round.
This year, I contributed a round to the Polish Puzzle Championship (which took place a couple of weeks ago). If you’ve been wondering why I’ve made a bunch of [some wall genre]-Like Loop puzzles in the last few months, most of them were practice for this!
Here’s a little twist on Ice Walk. The water rules are based on Naoki Inaba’s Land and Sea genre.
I’ve set myself a little puzzle construction challenge. How tall can I make a really narrow Rail Pool grid before running out of ideas? Apparently, the answer is 200 rows.
Uhhh, yes I know, it’s May. I made this set of symmetry area puzzles for a Secret Santa thing last year. I’ve been meaning to put it on the blog ever since, but I kept putting it off. Here it finally is.
